Our Story

Funky Brims began as one man's passion. Traveling through Europe and developing a collection of caps himself, Chris Lopp realized the need for these caps in the US.

Conveniently, his wife, Sarah was opening her store, Funktified, in Broken Arrow as she pursued her passion for funkiness and bright colors.

The two passions collided and Funky Brims was born and housed inside Funktified.

Funky Brims has gained a cult following online and its success has led Chris & Sarah to open another stand alone store in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma right next door to Funktified. Get ready for the brick & mortar Funky Brims store to open in March 2026!

Funky Brims is about helping customers discover pieces that fit not only their head, but their personality, lifestyle, and vibe. We focus on quality materials, intentional design, and expert guidance, so customers leave knowing why a hat works for them — from fit and fabric to function and flair.

Whether someone is refining their everyday look or stepping outside their comfort zone, Funky Brims provides the tools, knowledge, and encouragement to help them walk out feelingsharper, bolder, and more themselves.

About the Owners

Chris Lopp is an attorney, CPA, hat enthusiast and licensed solicitor in the United Kingdom.
If you're local to Oklahoma, you probably recognize Sarah Lopp (formerly Roe) as the Money Saving Queen from News on 6 back in the day. Today, she is a funky entrepreneur and an adjunct professor at a local university.

Chris and Sarah are the parents of five boys and two doggies, Toby & Daisy.
